Saint Aude Medal
Saint Aude, a young Christian woman of the 7th century, is known as the first disciple of Saint Genevieve, sharing her life of prayer, devotion, and service to the poor in Paris. A model of purity and humility, she chose a life of silence and charity, dying at a young age after receiving the blessing of her spiritual mistress.
Despite her short life, her holiness shines through the centuries as a testimony of simple and profound fidelity to the Gospel. To wear a medal of Saint Aude is to place oneself under the protection of a gentle and fervent soul, and to seek to live the faith with discretion, love, and fidelity.
