Founded in 1903, Maison Becker was created by the renowned French artist Edmond-Henri Becker.
Born in 1871 in Paris, the artist and sculptor gained attention in 1900 when he received the gold medal at the Boucheron stand at the Salon des Artistes exhibition.
Recognized in France and internationally, Edmond-Henri Becker was also awarded the "medal of honor" in 1937 and devoted a large part of his career to the medal, of which he became the great specialist.

He will be recognized as a renowned artist of his time with his very realistic representations of children and women on various collectibles.

Maison Becker experienced a true renaissance in 2024 when it was taken over by La Médaille Française, created with commitment by Rachel Marouani, former President of Fred Joaillier and Adrien Collange, former Director of Operations at Fred Joaillier and former workshop manager at Maison Cartier.
These two enthusiasts decided to relocate all manufacturing from Thailand to their own workshops in France in order to preserve the beauty and know-how of French heritage.
